Here are a few quick tips to make a healthy transition into more activity and connectivity with others:
- Optimally support your immune system; eat real food, maintain a clear and connected nervous system with regular Chiropractic Care, hydrate and drink more water as it warms up, get 6-8 hours of sleep each night, keep stress levels low, ensure plenty of vitamin D, get outdoors and connect with nature.
- Check in with your body: If you begin to feel fearful or anxious, do a scan of where you are holding stress. Place your hands on your chest or abdomen and breath into the body.
- Stay Connected: As you encounter others, even in the absence of seeing a smile, look people in the eye and try to make a connection that way.
- Take a few deep breaths: When wearing a mask in public, begin to notice if you are mouth breathing. Mouth breathing often means you are in need of more oxygen. If you are indoors and cannot quickly retreat to an open air environment, breath in through the nose and out through the mouth, slowly. This will help you calm any anxiety you may be feeling.
